Dear Families
I hope you enjoy this early newsletter.
Thank you to the parents who organised the Garden Market on Sunday. I was unable to attend due to prior commitments, but I hear it was a resounding success! We will have more to share in future newsletters.
Today Eleanor and Manon from Year 6 attended the Lord Mayor’s Reception for Children at the Town Hall with Mrs Klonaris. They had prepared a manifesto of what they would do if they were the mayor, and this was shared at the reception. Eleanor and Manon will share their experience of this with you in the next newsletter. (Thursday – week 4 – 7 November)
The SoHo on Stage organisers are working hard on this event, students are rehearsing and the excitement is building! Please see the SoHo on Stage item further in the newsletter with information about how to purchase your ticket.
Regards
Anne Reeves

3/4 A Skipping Rhymes
In English, we have been learning about poetry and rhymes. We read some traditional skipping rhymes and then made our own up.
BELLA HAS A…
Bella has a bunny,
Bella has books,
Bella has a bulldog,
That likes to cook,
Bella has chocolate cake,
Bella has a tummy ache,
Bella has a garden with lots of trees,
The flowers are buzzing with bumble bees.

WATER, WATER
Water, water in my hair,
Water, water everywhere.
Water, water run from the tide,
Water, water down the slide,
Water, water up the slide,
Water, water through the tide,
Shake the water from my hair,
Water, water disappear.

HALLOWEEN
Creepy, creepy pumpkin, pumpkin rolls in
Scary, scary skeleton, skeleton rattles in
Skeleton chases the pumpkin out of the ring
Here comes the spider, it builds a web
Spooky, spooky ghost, spider is dead
A bat flies in, night turns to day
Then the bat flies away

LOLLIES
Lollies, lollies LOL
Went to the beach and found a shell
Ran to the church and rang the bell
Lollies, Lollies, LOL
Lollies, lollies LOL
Sweet and sour on every hour
Lollies give you lots of power
Lollies, Lollies, LOL
By Mollie, Susanna, Olive, Ruby and Iona
THERE’S A LAND, THERE’S A LAND
There’s a land, there’s a land of spooky and scary
There’s a land, there’s a land of sweet and merry
In comes the fairies
In comes the scaries
In comes the horse with a pocket full of _(skipper makes up the word)_.
Out comes the fairies
Out comes the scaries
Out comes the horse with a pocket full of _(skipper makes up the word)__.
In comes the blob with a big attitude
Then comes the bunny with a little bit of honey
