Dear Parents
Thank you to families who were able to attend the (two so far) sharing assemblies we have had this week, with one more tomorrow. It has been wonderful to see students sharing their learning with their buddy class, other classes and families.
Students will be participating in Science Week activities next week with Book Week following. Remember the Book Week Parade on Thursday 22 August at 9:15am. This will be held on the netball court and pathway from the main buildings. Families are warmly invited to attend, please feel free to join us dressed as your favourite book character too!
Earlier this week a student was bitten by a dog after school, just a reminder that dogs should not be brought onto school grounds, unless express permission has been given. Thanks in advance for your support.
There will be a School Association Committee meeting next Tuesday 13 August in the school library, 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.
Next week’s newsletter will have more student learning and a report on our visiting Olympian Kynan.

Every school day counts
Welcome back for Term 3 – we hope you had a great break!
As we move into the second half of the school year, sometimes regular school attendance can be challenging.
There are so many reasons to go to school. It’s a chance to be around friends, learn new things, grow and have fun.
This term is packed with exciting things:
- Science Week
- Book Week
- Book Week Parade
- Yr 3-6 Swimming Carnival
- Wonderful Learning oppunities, every day

The School Association will be holding their first meeting for term 3 next week, Tuesday 13 August, at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start in the library.
Everyone is welcome.
In next weeks Newsletter we will have an item about an Olympian who came to visit and medal photos of some of our cross country runners.
We will also have a presentation from 2/3A.
