It’s Harmony Week 

To celebrate Harmony Week the Grade 6 Leadership have developed some great activities to promote harmony and getting along .  

There will be a presentation available for teachers to share with their classes during the week explaining the importance of Harmony Day. 

On Tuesday, 18th, we will be having a Cultural Dressup Day. Students can wear their cultural heritage outfit, orange for harmony or Australia’s green and gold. 

On Tuesday and Wednesday there will be 3 legged races on the oval at recess and there will be a cultural game at lunch time. 

During the week there will be a couple of activities for students to complete in their classrooms. 

We want to make a long chain of paper people with each student decorating one. 

We are also interested in the diversity of our cultural background and so are putting up a large world map for everybody to put a dot on the country their family originated from. (Parents, could you please talk to your child about this, so they know where to put their dot.) 

There is NO cost involved for these activities.
