South Hobart Primary School will host competitions on behalf of the Australian Maths Trust: the Computational & Algorithmic Thinking (for Years 5 & 6 only) and the Australian Mathematics Competition (for Years 3 – 6). These are in paper format, participation is voluntary and students may only sit the assessment for their current year level. Information can be found at www.amt.edu.au where you will be able to look at past papers.

Payments for the AMT competitions will be through the school’s Qkr! app. The office is unable to accept cash payments. Only enrolment forms that have a Qkr! payment in full will be registered for the competition(s). Payment & enrolment forms are due to the office by 3pm on Friday, 4^th April.

Please take special note of the deadline as it cannot be extended due to AMT timelines and our school holidays, nor will the office be able to send reminders if you send in a form but haven’t made a payment. All competitions will be undertaken at school between 9:10am and 11:00am.
