We are seeking expressions of interest for grade 5/6 students for the school waterpolo team in 2025 held over term 2. Training is usually (tbc) on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 pm and games are on Friday evening both normally held at the Doone Kennedy Aquatic Centre. Teams are mixed and the focus is on fun and participation.  It does require some swimming ability and children should be able to swim 50m unaided. Coaches are generally older, former South Hobart Primary students. Previous years have been fun and a great way of increasing students aquatic and team skills. Whilst this is a South Hobart Primary School Team it is not coordinated by the school and requires parental support for it to occur.
