3A's Visit to Government House

The cold room at the Botanical Gardens wasn’t cold enough!

I learned that the gardens always have protection and they also need extra spray to help things grow.  I saw the beehives that I really like.  I’ve never seen a beehive before. Britta

I really liked the Governor’s dogs, Oscar and Nala!  I also liked the Japanese Gardens.

I think that the excursion was really fun.  The Gardens were my favourite part, because we got to learn about the worms and the flowers and the food and the way things grow.

I think they did an amazing tour telling us what they were growing, even though they weren’t growing everything at that exact time.
