Year to date attendance – the average percentage of students at school each day up to 11 August 2025. 

Attendance level – the percentage of students who are attending school 90+% of the time.  

If your child misses 2 days per week that equals 80 days per year. This is 16 weeks per year. If this pattern continues, from Kindergarten to Year 12 they will have missed nearly five years of schooling. This is equal to finishing year 7.  

If your child is having difficulty attending school, speak to your child’s teacher. Together we can develop strategies to help them attend school every day!
