Theme: Book An Adventure  

For this year’s book week, we are doing, a parade, a Kahoot, readers theatre, class photo and read louds. This year the parade will be on Thursday morning starting at 9.15am, All classes will be showing off our cool outfits and good books. All parents will be welcome to come and watch their child parade with pride around the parade route. We really look forward to seeing the most creative costume using recycled materials. They do not need to cost money. Have a look at what you have around your house. 

The grade sixes will be performing a reader’s theatre for each class. There is a Kahoot quiz happening for all years, kinder – year 2 and year 3 – year 5. How well do you know your books? All through the week there will be a quiz of read aloud’s for all years. A part of a picture book or chapter book will be read out over the P.A and each class will have to guess the book. First class to get it right, will win a prize. The last activity is a class photo to be taken after the parade.
